[21 Dec]Mr. Yoji Sato gave a lecture at Korea National Open University②(Seoul, South Korea)
On December 21st (Tuesday) 2010, Mr. Yoji Sato, director of One Asia Foundation, recorded a televised lecture on the subjects of “The world as one in the near future” at the studio of Korea National Open University. After the recording of the lecture, Mr. Sato had a nice chat with Mr. Cho Nam Chul, president, and other persons of the university.

On December 20th (Monday) 2010, Mr. Yoji Sato, director of One Asia Foundation gave a lecture on the subjects of “Toward the formation of Asian Community” (the first part), and of “The world as one in the near future” (the second part). The lecture was given in a framework of the special course on “Asian Community.” After the lecture, Mr. Sato had a pleasant chat with Prof. Jong-Yil Ra, president of the university, Prof. Chang-Hoon Seo, board chairman, and some other persons of the university.

On 6 December 2010, Mr. Yoji Sato, director of One Asia Foundation delivered a lecture on the subject of “future-oriented mindset for the formation of Asian Community” at Korea University. After the lecture, Mr. Sato and Prof. Ki-Su Lee, who was the president of the University and observed the lecture, had a nice chat and promoted friendship with each other. es with each other.

[9 Nov]One Asia Clubs arranged a session at the Asian Economic Community Forum in Incheon, Korea
When “Asian Economic Community Forum” was held in Inchon (Korea) on November 9th (Tuesday) 2010, One Asia Clus took charge of a session on the subject of “Toward the formation of Asian Community.” At the session, One Asia Club members of several Asian regions explained their activities related to “Asian Community” movement in each region. Persons in charge of special courses on the topic of “Asian Community” which were being conducted by some selected universities reported how their courses were managed. [29 Oct]One Asia Club Tokyo held an Exchange Meeting at Izu Kogen
“One Asia Club Tokyo (OAC) Exchange Gathering 2011” took place at Tenrei 301 in Izu Kogen from October 29th (Friday) to November 1st (Sunday). Some 120 members participated in this gathering from regional OACs in Japan and other areas of Asia including Korea, Mongol, China, Tajikistan, and Krygyzstan. All the participants shared visions with, and promoted friendship between, each other through cultural and sports exchanges. Mr. Yoji Sato, director of One Asia Foundation, as well as a public performance of Japanese and Korean traditional dancing. [11 Oct]Subvention for “Japan-Korea Cultural Exchange 2010”
One Asia Foundation subsidized the “Japan-Korea Cultural Exchange 2010” which was co-sponsored by Nihon University College of International Relations, Izu Area Development Institute (NPO), Global Cultural Exchange Association (NPO), and One Asia Club Seoul. This event was held on October 11 (Monday) 2010 at the 600th Anniversary Building of Sungkyunkwan University located in Seoul. The program of the event included a commemorative speech on the “Asian Community” by Mr. Yoji Sato, director of One Asia Foundation, as well as a public performance of Japanese and Korean traditional dancing. [20 Aug]Subvention for “Japan-China Juvenile Cultural Exchange 2010”
One Asia Foundation subsidized the four-day cultural exchange event of Japan-China young people jointly organized by Japan-China News (overseas edition of People’s Daily) and亜州青少年芸術盛典 (Asian Youth Cultural Festival). “Tenrei 301” in Izu Kogen was selected as the venue for this event, in which a total about 130 young people took part (including 88 persons from China) in order to forge close ties with each other.

[21 Jun]Mr. Yoji Sato gave a lecture at Korea National Open University①(Seoul, South Korea)
On the 21st June 2010, Mr. Yoji Sato, the Chairman of OAC Tokyo, gave a lecture at the Korea National Open University (KNOU), titled: Establishment of One Asia association. There are approximately 200,000 students enrolled in the university and lectures are done via internet, TV, multimedia and audio, along with face-to-face lectures. Mr. Sato’s lecture was recorded and will be broadcasted nationwide to 1,000,000 public viewers as well as the students at the KNOU.
